Kevin Zhu(Zhu Tao),born in 1971,is now a member of Guangzhou Artists association.
He is skilled in Chinese wash-and-ink painting,watercolour painting,seal(chop)-engraving and calligraphy.

Awards he received include:

1993 a 1st prize at China New Times "LA TOUR EIFFL(Paris)" Artistic Cup Competition for Calligraphy and Painting.

1994 An excellent-work prize at the 8th GuangDong Province Art Exhibition.

1995 A 1st prize at the National Art Exhibition of the 70th aniversary of the Founding of ChinLabour Union.

1996 An excellent-work prize at china Sport srt Exhibition.

1997 An excellent-work prize at the 3th Maple Leaf Award Chinese Wash-and-ink Art exhibition in Canada.

1998 An excellent-work prize at the"Ong Chen-Ru"art Exhibition in Australia.

1999 A bronze prize at the 9th Guangzhou Art Exhibition. A gold prize(for watercolour painting)and an excellent-work prize(for swal-engraving)at the 5th Yang Cheng Art Exhibition.

2000 A Chinese painting is collected by the Australia China Art Gallery.

2001 worked on the field of seal-engraving published The seal-engraving Art of Zhu Tao.

2002 ink-and-wash paintings exhibited in Gallery-8,California,U.S.A.

2003
Kevin's ink-and-wash paintings were exhibited in La Pivoine Art Centre in B.C Canada.(February,2003)
Kevin's porcelain work "An Old Mansion In GuangZhou" (painted together with artist Xu) won the Bronze Prize at the First GuangZhou Tourism Artifact Exhibition.(March,2003)
Kevin was interviewed by a well-known newspaper about his porcelain art.(May,2003)
